STANDARDS OF GLASS BEADS

1.Glass Beads for Road Markings under GB/T 24722-2009:

Remarks: We are in position to supply glass beads under standards of AASHTO M247, EN1423/1424 (BS6088), JIS R3301 or as per client's requirement.

2. Glass beads used in shot blasting, surface finishing and cleaning as well as additive and fortifier on plastic, rubber, paint and polymer applications etc:

 

PHYSICAL PROPERTY AND CHEMICAL CONTENT

1. Appearance: Glass Beads are clean, transparent and free from bubbles and other foreign matters
2. Index of Refraction: 1.5-1.7
3. Composition: Soda-lime glass( SiO₂ content ) is 67％ min
4. Specific Gravity: 2.3-2.5 g/cm³
5. Roundness: 70% or 80% min
6. Others: to be at purchaser's requirement

7. Testing Method:
Glass beads are tested by sample testing sieves, timed testing sieve shaker, roundness tester. Also self inspection, mutual inspection and special inspection are adopted under our QC system.

8. Packaging Conditions:
Packaging is in 25 kgs PP, PE or Paper Bags
or 300kgs，500 kgs or 1,000 kgs Jumbo Bags
or Tin Cans or as per client's requirement
